Hi,

I have a simple question, I'm currently studying full-time for a college degree in US. I do have some pevious experience also.

My question is on form IMM 0008, question No. 13, they are asking "Current occupation", can I write down "College Student" or I just write "unemployed" instead. Do you think "Full-time Student" is an occupation?

Please anybody who had the same situation,
thanks,

I have no experience in this, I would write unemployed or full time student or N/A if you are not counting any part time job that you are doing now for your employment points.

If you are doing part time job and it is counted towards your employment points, i would write that in. So in my case, i wrote teaching assistant.

Correct me if I am wrong : You simply need to outline your activities following the completion of college until now. For instance, if you studied from 2012 to 2016 and then resumed studies from 2017 to 2019, which is detailed in the education section, the visa authorities are interested in knowing what you did between 2016 and 2017. Mentioning "unemployed" along with your home address suffices for this purpose.
