Hello everyone!

My wife came to Canada on a visitor visa and then was approved for an Open Work Permit (I am an international student). She is visiting her home country and return to Canada on May 05 while her Open work permit is expired on Nov 30.

My question is if the expiring date of the permit is around 6 months like my wife's case, does she have to buy a return ticket (from Canada - her home country)? is there any possible problem if she purchases a one-way ticket only?

Thank you very much

is it expired or expires on NOV 30
If it expires on Nov 30 she doesn't need to get return ticket because on work permit you don't have to, and make sure she has visa on her passport to enter again in Canada when she comes back

hi everbody i dont know how to start a new topic here i just signed up. i hope u could help me. I just got my working permit as a nanny a family is sponsoring me. i heard about the new system for caregivers that we are allowed to bring our spouse and children here and need not to wait for permament residency so we can be with our families. Is the children free to study in canada if you have a working permit? thanks so much. I will really appreciate your responses. God bless you all.
