Is proof of fund required by CIC for people applying via Express Entry PNP with job offer

Hi everyone, just as the title says. Is proof of fund required for folks applying that get their ITA after they’re nominated by the province.
My province is requesting that I provide proof of fund to get my nomination even though I have an noc b job with good salary. So bottom line is this even a requirement by ircc? Thanks

If the province is requesting it it is not coming from IRCC. As a provincial nominee I would do everything necessary to keep the province happy because your PR depends on it, right to the end.
