hi Guys,

I already submitted the application but read somewhere that all forms should be printed on bond paper.

is this a mandatory requirement ?

I printed mine in a shop and they had only normal papers, guys - please advise.

Hi,

Where have you heard this? Sounds like rurmors unless you can provide the appropriate link to an official CIC source.

I had my forms printed at work, plain A4 sheets. Then I had a couple of forms reprinted in the copy center. Have never heard of this stuff before.

ok thanks RomanSPb.

check the below link on CIC website : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

See the last sentence for IMM0008 form, but I think it should be fine to print on normal paper as well.

.Click the “Validate” button at the top or bottom of the form.

Note: Validating the form before printing makes sure that you have answered all the questions. This will help you to avoid delays in processing your application.

b.A last page with barcodes and a signature line will automatically be created.
c.Print, sign and date the form.
d.For best results: •print on white, bond-quality, non-glossy paper and
•use a laser printer.

e.Place the barcode page on top of your package. If you have more than one package, place a separate barcode page on each one.

Oh I see now... Yes, I've read this note in the form but paid no attention. It is just a recommendation on how to achieve "best results", it is said to be "bond-quality", not "bond paper". So, like I said, it is okay to use plain paper for that.
