i have done +2 with non-medical,,,, applied for electromechanical engineering in sheriden college and got visa,,,,, and if after reaching canada i change my course to hotel management,,,, can i still eligible to get PR after completion of course???????

one of my known who is already in canada do as mentioned and he says that he will get PR????

not a straightforward answer to that question. u can find various PR programs in the below link check if u can apply under any program depending on ur province course etc

u should inform cic about the change.. then there will be no prob.

changing college/uni or program doesn't impact your chances of PR. Read the following link;

Now about securing PR post completion of your program, Mead told you about PNP program. It depends where you land, what category job you get.
For example, Ontario PNP doesn't fetch you PR if you end up in a job as food counter executive in KFC, McD or Tim Horton, but in Alberta PNP program makes you eligible to apply for PR after 9 months (considering you have completed your program and have been working as food counter rep). So it's all about PNP program and what category job you get. In Ontario, if you get NOC Category B while you are on open work permit, you can apply for PR.


And you don't have to inform CIC about this change you are making, it's not required and it's not illegal not to tell them.
