Is postdoc exempt from LMIA

I am not a Canadian citizen or PR. I know that if I get a postdoc position from a Canadian institution, I will be exempt from LMIA. But my situation is a bit more complicated.

I am currently holding a postdoc position in the US, and I am about to finish this position soon. If I get an offer from a Canadian company, could I use my current postdoc experience to get LMIA exemption?

So you would not be LMIA exempt unless the Canadian NOC/position is LMIA exempt. Nothing to do with your US work experience. LMIA exemption are only under certain conditions.

No. You would need to be coming for a post doc in Canada in order to benefit from that LMIA exemption.
