Is Pan Card Mandatory?

Hi all,

I am applying for Canada PR as an Investment Analyst..

I wanted to know that is PAN card a mandatory document to provide as it is taken as just a National ID for which i can provide my Passport Copy as well as Driving License Copy...

So could you please guide me urgently that whether PAN Card is a mandatory Document to be in the application or not?
