Is my Canada work experience worthless with non-Canadian employer?

Hello,

I'd like to know if my current job can be a part of Canada experience or not.

I'm in Montreal. My company(outside Canada) sent me to work with Canada company as an on-site engineer 2 years ago. I got positive LMIA, CAQ and - closed - work permit for it and now my work permit(closed as same condition) has been renewed for another 2 years working.

The document is showing the employer is my company instead of Canada company. Can it be Canada experience?

If not, is 2 years experience worthless?
