Dear members,

need opinion, what do you think is it wise to leave your current job (in dubai) and land in canada to settle there and finding job there.

thanks

Hi,

1. If it is possible for you to maintain your PR status, while staying on the current job in Dubai, it is a better option.

2. If you have family with children, then it is not a good suggestion to stay in Dubai because you have to take care of their education and it is better in Canada than the middle east.

3. If you are single and the current job is satisfactory, it is a good option to keep it till you are permitted to be out of Canada but you should not loose your PR status.

What Wilson said is absolutely correct.
There are many times when decision is made on basis on priority and needs.
So if you can manage to find a job on the basis on f your pr visa in canada from dubai itself then that would be the best thing that any1 can achieve.
but still as wilson said it all depends upon your situation.

Not really. It is not wise

But it is kind of calculated risk. It is always better to try for the job while keeping your current job if possible but it depends on individual how much risk you want to take.

After you land in Canada and get the PR card there is an option to return back to your jobs and you can come back to canada within next three years.

If you can keep your job, please do till you get something else.

What may be ideal is to take a leave (of absence?) for about 2months, travel to Canada and try the job market. If you get a job, the choice is all yours.

My advise would be to go to Canada, search for a job, and if you get one, leave your current job.

Education in Canada is free. The culture is really good adn people are very friendly. A much better place to stay than Dubai.
If you dont get a job, you can always come back. If you don't have ego problems, you will most likely get a job to survive. After that survival job, you will get a job of your choice. Only a struggle of 8-9 months, but it is worth. Canada is one of the best places to stay on earth.

Rest your wishes.

Best of luck.

I second you on it.

Provided you have bulk leave's left and you can go on leave's like a month and search for a job. Its always good and better to search mean while search for a job over the internet before you land in Canada.
