Is it true that only TCF results (after March 2020) are considered for Canada Express Entry PR Visa?

I am preparing for my French language exams to increase my CSR score, I read somewhere that now only TCF scores are considered. Is it true? Im confused about what to do since I was preparing based on only TEF exam format. Can someone let me know ?

1. As per CIC's instructions:

We’ll accept TEF results if you wrote your test before March 1, 2020. If you wrote the test on or after March 1, 2020, you need to provide TEF Canada test results.

• TCF Canada: Test de connaissance du français, including:
  • compréhension de l’écrit
  • compréhension de l’oral
  • expression écrite
  • expression orale
