I am on a post graduate work permit. I only have 11 months left on my permit. I am in the process of finding a job and think i will find one by April.

Is it too late? I am really stressed right now. Is there any option here? Will they accept the 6 months of international experience i did?

Thanks for the help

Yes they will accept the international experience as long as it's in a skilled position under NOC O, A or B.

To apply in EE you muat have 1 year full time experience in NOC A,B ,O .

i understand that. But does that 1 year full time experience have to be in Canada?

No ,, experience could be anywhere in the world. However, you must back it up with proper paperwork.

thanks. Could you please help me with what constitutes as proper paperwork? Will a letter from a past employer be sufficient?

As per CIC requirements, letter from past employer mentioning all your positions held along with Duties & responsibilities, working hours, salary and benefits information.

I have to bump this thread in light of the thread now telling me that the work experience needs to be continuous. People on this thread implied that the work experience did not need to be continuous.

For FSW / Express Entry you must have at least 1 year of continuous work experience.

No one in this thread said that the work experience did not need to be continuous. They simple said it didn't all have to be in Canada for FSW/EE but could be from anywhere in the world.
