Thanks :)

So I was just checking out the eligibility tool in CIC. I was under the impression that I had more than 67 points in FSWP. The last time I checked I did have that much. Now it says I'm not eligible. I don't where I went wrong after repeating it two times.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-fsw-points-criteria-announced-new-federal-skilled-trades-class-fstc-t115576.0.html

As per the point criteria mentioned here: Age(12), Work Ex(11 - Have 2+ yrs), Bachelors Mech Engg (21), IELTS (Yet to take General Test but I've an academic ielts score of 8 so pretty confident about scoring well - 23 if that's the case)

Does this make me eligible? Does having only 67 marks put me at risk?

Regards

All you need is 67 points. If there is a way, it is safer to get more than 67 points but if you are confident about getting 67, there is no need to worry. I think you should aim for 24 points from IELTS. Also, if you have a spouse then her IELTS can give you 5 more points.
