I had an email from Jenianna Reda <jenireda22@gmail.com> on 17 May 20222, saying that selected for the Canadian
Resettlement Provincial Nominee Programs. You are among the list of
persons that have been nominated for the 2021/2022 resettlement
program in Canada. You and your family will be granted PERMITS to LIVE
AND WORK IN CANADA if you can meet the basic requirements. and they gave me my nomination validation code. after I started the process to apply. by yesterday they sent me a certificate that says I have been confirmed nominated to live and work in Ontario, canada.
The real question I have is to be sure that the emails I'm getting are from the right people or they are hackers/negative people because Isaw where they are requesting personal documents and some amount of money.

Looks like a scam.
Btw never heard PNP being referred to "Canadian Resettlement Provincial Nominee Programs". Did you apply for OINP?
IRCC never sends out email from a gmail account. It has to be a scam.

why would someone from a gmail saying youre selected to a government program.

Because they are scammers and are hoping they can easily fool someone.

1/ Scam, don't send money.
2/ No Government dept uses gmail accounts.
