Hi Guys,

My multiple entry visa will expire this August 2012. I am planning to have a one month vacation to the Philippines this October same year. Is it safe to go there provided that my visa has already expired?I will get a re-entry visa first thing when I get there though. Anybody please help. Thanks! Highly appreciated.

Not knowing where you are from and what is required to visit the Philippines but assuming you need visa to visit the country. As you say the visa will be expired before you enter the country, you will be denied the entry so there is no such thing that safe to travel with an expired visa. And the record of your denial will be in the immigration system. This will affect to visit the Philippines and other countries.

I think the OP is in Canada with a Canadian visa that will expire in August and wants to visit the Philippines and apply for another Canadian visa there.

But what is the question?
