I applied for a college in Vancouver and my visa has got as far as background checks.
During this time, Toronto offered me a place at a better college and I want to take up this offer.
I emailed my new offer letter and explanation letter on the web form online and got back
"thanks for your documents which have been passed to the relevant immigration office, we can confirm your application is still processing"
I'm not confident this is a human reply and its a generic bot reply, so I wasn't sure if "your application is still progressing" = it's totally cool you can change college. Two weeks have passed and no further message or no additional request for documents. So my question is, is it safe for me now to refund my vancouver deposit and put down my toronto one? Because time is running out fast to pay the commitment fee.
