Is it possible to take a diploma programme after getting study visa for degree programme

Actually am Studing in a college for degree programme but after completion of first sem in april i wish to drop here and apply for other college in diploma programme

In your study permit if you have Field of Study : Any designated post secondary ... which means you are free to choose course from post secondary level to higher one's

After completion of one sem at current college

Would visa authority create any problem in extending study visa

Or create any problem in work visa after completion of 2 year course at other college
