I have created the application thrice without any success in the CIC website. I always get the result that my application is ineligible. However, to the best of my knowledge, I don't think that I have committed any mistake in filling up the form. My only question is, should I already have WES evaluated documents before I file as an applicant because I don't have any and I chose the option NO.

Thanks in advance.

Answer to your topic question: YES. Many of us on this forum have done it simply by asking one another and reading the CIC website. All the procedures are stated there.

And yes, the reason why you are getting an ineligible profile is because you don't have any ECA (e.g. from WES) yet. Create your EE profile once you have the ECA and your IELTS result.

Please read the sticky threads on the top of this forum as all the basics are covered there.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I don't usually jump in and expect spoon feeding but the number of threads seems to be humongous and overwhelming. Guess, I need to explore a few days in this forum and I should be good to go. :)

Honestly, a lot of them are the same questions repeated over and over LOL (like this one hahaha). :) If you must filter out the noise, all you need to know is in the 2nd post of "Express Entry step by step", the 1st post of "Express Entry in a nutshell", and the 1st post of the "Summary of Provincial Nomination Programs". Good luck!

Look around the forum. You have all the information, and personal experiences here to make you just as knowledgeable as an immigration agent :D

It's scary to fill up forms on your own, so if you have any hint of doubt:
1. Go to the CIC website, read the guides uploaded there
2. Go to existing threads in the forum that share your concern
3. Join FB or whatsapp groups where other applicants discuss

Thanks. Do you happen to have any what's app group numbers? Also which site would be the best to find a good job offer before going to Canada? I seem to fall just short of the points. :(

LOL, yes it IS possible to obtain PR status without using a professional, but one of the most useful strategies is reading directions : ) Yes, the Educational Credentials Assessment (WES is one authorized provider) is required before submitting the EE profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp

IRCC (formerly CIC) provides a lot of information on its website which should be consulted before resorting to online discussion groups. They are very very useful, but also full of misinformation.

Thanks for the advise. :) The website domain name says cic, but you say that it is formerly cic. I am confused.

"Citizenship and immigration Canada" (CIC) recently (Feb 2016, I think) changed its name to "Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada" (IRCC). The website domain remains www.cic.gc.ca. And most of us still refer to IRCC as CIC.

on a lighter side: ( based on your nickname) :D :D

I suggest you first understand what is Express Entry. The Express Entry is an Express Entry into the pool and not an Express Entry to Canada. So please change your name to goingtocanadasometime.....or goingtocandasoonerorlater.......

:D :D :D :D Welcome to the Pool we are here since 15 months :D :D :D :D

Wasn't aware of that. Thanks @jes_ON.

Too late. I think I will rather live in the hopes of soon. You have been in the pool for 16 months? :o why? What problem are you facing?

A lot of people are waiting in the pool because their CRS just isn't high enough to receive an ITA.
In that situation, if you don't qualify for PNP, and you can't improve your score in any other way, the only thing you can do is wait.

Oh bummer. Won't taking the language tests etc, work? To increase the score?

You should look into how the CRS scoring works:

Here is the 2015 year-end report to get an idea of the make-up of the pool:
