I was deported from Usa in 2001 because of false document (passport)
I became ineligible for a non immigrant visa in the USA because I didn't tell them I got deported and that's because I was told that after 5yrs the record would clear smh
Anyways I'm a skill worker and I wish to enter Canada legally to work or visit cos I have a son there..
I would like to know what system do they have for someone like me cos I'm not into the lies. I want to tell the truth and clear my name.. HELP!!

You'll need to declare your immigration history in the US when you apply to enter Canada. Your deportation was some time ago. So it's difficult to say if it will impact your Canadian visa or not.

To qualify for a work permit, you'll need a job offer from an employer in Canada and that employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA. Generally speaking, it's extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process.

Yes - worth a try. Again, make sure you declare all of your US refusals (and any other refusal) in your application.

Have you already secured the job offer and your employer has an approved LMIA?

Gdm. No not yet. I wanted to check it out first. There's farm work programs and other job fair that are kept in my country where Canadian employers come here seeking workers.
I also have a son in Canada that I would like to visit at least once per year
