Hello everyone,
I'm desperately seeking advice. I started a study program in March 2020 in Canada. Within the first two days of my arrival it was announced that all schools will take place online. So I stayed in Canada about 40 days and then returned to my country. Finished the first semester online as mandated. However I chose not going back in september 2020 (it was the peak time of the pandemic and my family did not want me to return for mental and physical safety concerns.)
With schools approval we postponed my return to september 2021. However I could not obtain the CAQ in time.
Now I have CAQ for march 2022, but I dont know what to do about the study permit. I don't think I am able to restore my student status cause it is said that you have to be in Canada and apply within 90 or 150 days. Can I get a new study permit? What are my options?Any information is greatly appreciated.
