Is it Possible to change the course from PG Diploma 1 year to Advance Diploma

Hi Guys
I am arrived in Canada now i wnna change my course from PG Diploma 1 Year to Advance Diploma Course 2 year, Just wnna knw that is it Possible to change the course.....!!!
Do i also need to inform CIC if i change the course and college
Please Help me out Guys

depends, if you are graduate from bachelors already its not good to go for PS, PG is a good oprion you can go for masters directly
PS .. not bad either bt not advisable if you have bachelors already. because almost everything you know is in PS of your course.

not in computer science...but any field related to it where my bachelor degree credits can be transfered......

dude not possible then you might get refusal based on previous study mismatch.. do not think advance diploma is pg ok good luck
