its advisable to complete the program as you are already half way through.

if you had pr then its fine but international students wishing to stay here permanent could have problems later when filing for pr.

you could always make money for the rest of your life, this is just 8 months more.

thank you for your response sir ,so you are saying i have no chance of changing my status from a study to a work permit?

You could definitely change your status... But you need to find an employer who will support your LMO... I don't think anyone will do that for free... Then again, most of the time people get single entry WP... And it may harm you when you file for PR.. Because it's still visa breach...

My suggestion... Complete your studies...

There are always other options available...

oh ok,so its possible to change my status but it will destroy all my chances of becoming a permanent resident..??

You would need to find an employer willing to apply for an LMO in order to offer you a job; with a positive LMO, you can apply for a closed work permit. This process takes several months and costs the employer hundreds of dollars, so your chances of finding such a job are very low.

Changing your status won't have any effect on later applying for PR, provided you qualify for PR in the first place.
