Hello, guys. I have a question here.

I received ITA on 20th, August. (lowest CRS score is 457)

My CRS score is 464. But I stated that my wife won't come to Canada together with me because her IELTS result had expired, and as a result, my CRS would be only 440 if I stated that she will come with me to Canada.

But after I received ITA, she resat IELTS exam and got the result. After recalculation, I found that my CRS score is 458 (just one point higher than the criterion), if I fill that she will come to Canada with me.

So is it possible that I add her into the profile?

Thanks guys.

You wouldn't be changing your marital status - you would be changing your spouse from non-accompanying to accompanying.

Did you list yourself as single or married in your profile?

I am sorry, and you are right. Before ITA, I listed that I am married,

No, since you will not be meeting the Minimum Eligibility Criteria at the time of ITA. You will have to decline the ITA, update your spouse's IELTS score in order to add them to the profile.

I guess the main issue is that my wife's IELTS result was expired when I was invited to apply. Right?

Here is the timeline of my process.

2019-8-19
My wife's IELTS result expired, and I filled that she will not accompany me. CRS score is changed from 440 to 464.

2019-8-20
I was invited to apply. Minimal CRS score 457.

2019-9-1
My wife got her new IELTS score, and if I add her as company, my CRS score will change from 464 to 458.

Could you please confirm this once again?
