Is it permissible to submit documents for the OINP Notification of Interest (NOI) even after the IELTS have expired?

Hi all,

I have received an OINP Notification of Interest (NOI) today. My CRS score is 488 with my old IELTS score (Listening:6 Reading:6.5 Writing:6.5 Speaking:7) and it is going to expire on 27th of this month (August). I have written IELTS a couple of months back and with that score my CRS score would be 474 (Listening:6.5 Reading:6.5 Writing:6.5 Speaking:6). I still have to get my reference letter from my Indian company. As I have 45 days to submit my documents and considering, I will receive my reference letter in a month.

1. Can I submit those documents with the expired IELTS score?
2. or Can I update my IELTS score with the latest one and submit documents? Will that work because my CRS will drop to 474 from 488?
3. or Do I have to reject the NOI and wait for another one which will be valid with my new IELTS and CRS score (474)?
4. If I reject this NOI, will I get it again?

Sorry for asking lots of questions.

The thing is at the time of submission every doc needs to be valid.

No worries.
You don't have a choice you can't submit the expired one and have to submit the new one until and unless you are not sitting another test to max your points.

Hi Taran, it would be great if you could please answer this. I have been told that I have to accept the invitation in 14 days. However, I cannot see a button or anything to accept my OINP NOI. I even searched for the YouTube videos and website but still I did not see anywhere. Do I have to accept the NOI? How should I do it?

It says you will get an email once selected and need to follow the steps.

thank you for your response. I have applied under CEC in Human capital priorities stream. I don't see anything to accept the invitation. I only got notification of interest(NOI) and they mentioned to submit my docs in 45 days.

Not sure, May be I will get actual invitation letter after IRCC validating my docs.

Yes NOI is basically that you have been selected from the pool. Now they will assess you and if selected will send you a link to apply.
