Hi all,
I am a US citizen currently living in Canada working on PR and have been offered an online job that can be done from anywhere in the world as long as you're a native American English speaker. If the job pays in non-Canadian currency, am I okay to take this job? Technically, a Canadian could do the same thing since it's a global position, but it's global so I don't think I'm taking work from a Canadian or anything. I could do the same job from the US.
The company has several office locations around the world. No Canadian locations as far as I can tell, either. Here are the locations as listed on the company site.
Greater China:
Beijing, Dalian,Shanghai,Wuxi, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Nanjing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Wuhan, Changsha, Xiamen, WeifangHong, KongTaipei
APAC:
Tokyo, Osaka, Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Singapore, Kuala, Lumpur, Johor
EMEA:
Zurich, Barcelona, Budapest, Mauritius, Florence
Americas:
Redmond, Charlotte, Santa Clara
Anyway, am I alright to take the job? And how can I contact CIC to find out if it's okay by them? I don't want to get the wrong information from the call center, but I'm not sure how to contact CIC.
Thanks for reading. Any help is much appreciated!
