It is not necessary to show return ticket to get visa. Even it is not mandatory to show return ticket and it's not requirement of Visa Officer as well . . So, kindly don't buy in advance.

You just have to show funds when you're applying that you'll manage your travelling (air ticket), stay and tution when studying. (and that too for funds for the first year of studies)
