Is it necessary to fill the UCI number? If so whose UCI should I fill?

Hi, I'm newly married. My husband lives in Canada and I'm applying for family sponsorship visa. Is it necessary to fill the "Additional Dependants Form(Form No: IMM0008DEPENU)"? I'm the only applicant.

(Form No: IMM0008ENU_2D) Q.No. 3 in Personal Details Section asks for UCI number. Can I leave it blank? Or should I provide my spouse's UCI number there? Also there is an option called "VALIDATE" in the form, can we click it or is it not for me to use?

(Form No: IMM5490E) Q. 24 There is a question which asks "Has your sponsor visited you during the period of your relationship?" My husband was with me after the marriage for 3 weeks and then he left for Canada on 9th of this month. Should I answer this question as "YES" or "NO"?

Indicate your Unique Client Identifier number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number). Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first application with CIC you will not have a UCI or a Client ID.

After you fill out the application, you click the "Validate" button.

If you missed any required question, it will be highlighted in red. If all are answered, a page (or 2) with barcodes will be generated. These barcodes are what CIC uses to do the data entry, so they don't have to type in everything by hand.

Make sure you put the barcode pages at the front of your application.
