Is it mandatory to keep the Barcode pages on top of application?

Hi everyone!
so, we had just sent the application (Feb 2021 OUTLAND) and only now realized that we missed reading the part of the guideline that says to keep all the barcode pages (IMM 1344 and IMM 0008 forms) on top of the application.

We sent the application in the following order:
  1. Checklist
  2. Documents
  3. Supporting documents
Will this be a problem??

Will they return our application? Delay it? Decline it?

I did the same thing I hope it doesn’t cause problems

I was originally a February 2020 inland PR applicant. My application was organized, tabbed, sectioned - it was a thing of organized beauty, and I put all the bar code pages at the front of the file.

The application was returned to me a few weeks later (missing a doc related to a non-accompanying minor child - completely my fault). The application was returned with ALL of my fancy organizing removed and I received a tall stack of loose leaf papers organized by sections - with the bar codes split up at the top of each related section. I included the missing doc and sent it back exactly as they’d returned it to me.

Pandemic shut down notwithstanding, I got my AOR in November and they didn’t bat an eye that the bar code pages were not all stacked at the top of the application.

Long story short - you’ll be fine.
