hi i just want to ask anyone's opinion of my case... i am planning to apply as a skilled worker and that i will be getting married next month so i can declare my husband (to be) as my dependent in the application.. i want to start the application after the wedding...and by the way, both of us are currently working here in Israel. can i just askif will there be no problem if i will submit with my application a copy of my passport not adopting the surname of my husband? is it ok or is it mandatory to adopt his surname? please help me with this thing ..iwill be appreciative for your opinions thanks!

It's absolutely fine NOT to change your name after you marry. My sponsor didn't and all our immigration documentation , both her to the UK and now me back to Canada are in her maiden name. So are both her Canadian and British passports.

You don't require to change the surname for the purpose of applying for Canada immigration. Your name in the application should exactly as is on your passport. Later, after immigrating to Canada, you can change your maiden name without any hurdles.

Except in Quebec, where it's illegal to change your name to take your husband's name. (Civil Code of Quebec - item 393)

Actually in many countries it's 'illegal' to just take your spouse's last name. They require you to follow the legal name change procedure.
Two options depending on what you want and why. Get married, take your spouse's last name, issue new passport and then apply. This will delay your application for at least a couple of months obviously. Or come here, stay 3 years and after you obtain your citizenship change your last name. Yes, you can do it before becoming a canadian citizen, but the process will create more headache for you. I consulted a Service Canada Office in the past about it and they told me that it's better to wait to become a citizen first.
