I ask this because everytime I visit my boyfriend I just lie and say I am staying with family, my aunt, uncle and cousins. When really i'm staying with my boyfriend and his parents and sister. I say it just so they dont ask more questions. Is this logged on their system? Will it go against my application for PR if not maybe if when I land again once I have my PRV in my passport?

Not usually, but if they suspect you are lieing, then big trouble for you........Honesty is not only the best policy, IT IS THE ONLY POLICY. And remember if you tell the truth always, you don't need to have a god memory.

i never said husband except recently i usually say family

I always told the IO upon arrival i was staying with my girlfriend/fiance when i visited before we got married.

When we both flew into Calgary together (by then she was living with me in England) to get married in Banff, she got more of the 5th degree than i did! They just waived me through lol

Having said that, i always had a return ticket booked so they knew i was headed home and never came for more than 3 weeks at a time. They usually just asked me what i was planning on doing whilst there and that was it.

Yeah, actually the last time I went into Canada with my husband (he's the Canadian) they gave him a harder time than me!

i have never lied to the airport people and on all my visas i always indicated i am going to visit my boyfriend.
and i think that matters because when you finally do apply for sponsorship...its all in the records..and more believable than they looking back at your visas where you say you have been visiting family but at the same time you developed a relationship with your man that you 'forgot' to mention in the visa. plus you will have to continuously lie!

They shouldn't do that. As soon as they're satisfied he's a Canadian citizen, that should - by law - be the end of the examination. Canadian's enter Canada by right.

The IO's at the PIL don's usually make notes as far as I can tell, except for - maybe - a quick coding on the customs card for someone referred to immigration secondary. You'd notice if they made extensive notes or were entering something into the computer.
