Is it legal to show course taken on workprmt under Education in SCHEDULE A form

Hi,

After completing studies When I got my workpermit , I had taken a private course from private institute of Canada and I have received the course completion certificate from the private institute . Is it legal to show that course under Education column in SCHEDULE A BACkGROUND/DECLARATION FORM because When I am going to mention the date. immigration office will come to know that I had taken this private course from private institute when I was on the open work permit. Any suggestion Should I show that course under my education column or not ?

What do you mean is it legal to mention it? You were not allowed/permitted to study when you got the work permit! It's not about being legal or illegal. It's about ignoring simple immigration rules!!!

It's best to mention it and explain why you took that course while you were working. If it was a part-time study for a limited time, I don't think you would be having any big issues!

At the end of the day you want to be living truthfully in this country. So clear your path behind you...
