Is it better to apply eta or visa

I have work permit with me and my pr application is in process. If I wanna visit my family, is it ok to go for eta as it is valid for 6 months or it is better to go for visa stamped on passport?

do you actually hold a Visa exempt passport?

Exactly you don't have an option here- eta is for people who are from visa exempt countries for rest a regular visa is required
