I am wondering from peoples experiences, is an interview before or after the medical ? I'm trying to figure out if my husbands interview has been waived or not. If you do the medical does that mean you have been accepted? How soon after the medical do they request his passport, my husband is going through the paris visa office. Thanks so much eveyone

The medical is done before you mail the application. An interview is requested after your application had been reviewed by the visa office.

I agree with canadiangirl78.

The medical has been requested because it was supposed to be included with your original application and was missing.

sorry i forgot to mention i had already sent medical, but they asked for an updated one, and also made him resubmit his police check, this is med 2

When did you get the medical done and when did you send it? also, when did you do the fingerprints?

The medical has probably expired and they require a new one, that would be my assumption, but I would think they would require the medical before the interview since the interview is pretty much the last step in the decision making process.

can CHC ask for any doccument when the file is in FINAL REVIEW??? our file nd pasports and medical is with CHC from last 10 months.....manny of my known people are at same stage.of parents nd grandparents case

if your medical tests are expired i suggest you redo them ASAP, my lawyer told me it took about 3 month for them to process it in Paris due to the large number of cases in hand..., so if its expired get another one done, this will minimize your waiting game in the end......
