Is IELTS needed ?

My letter of acceptance mentioned no need for IELTS .
And I submitted my study permit application without it .

My grades in English are good in highschool .

Is there a chance of rejection because I didn't submit IELTS ?

As far as I have read in this forum there have been people that have got visa without Ielts. You have acceptance from college without it, so if the CIC require it they will probably ask you to provide.
