Hi

I was told by friends who applied for PR under this category that French is not a must.
But i was advised by immigration lawyer is almost a must have.
I know the changes every now and then. I did the self-evaluation test and seems I meet the requirements even I indicated zero knowledge in French. Can someone advise me?
Nevertheless, I am willing to pick up the basic level in French. Am just not sure how difficult that will be.

Dear Von,

In order to apply for Quebec, the French is a must. there was some new requirements added on December 5th, 2011. To apply, you need to include the result of standardized test for French when claiming points.
