Hi all,
I am a masters degree holder in bio medical genetics ( a specialisation in biotechnology) from the VIT ( Vellore Institute of Technology) University, Tamil Nadu, India. The VIT University comes under the " deemed University" status under the UGC, India. I am wondering can a degree from an institution with deemed university status be a fully recognised degree for canadian immigration purposes?
I have heard from the forum in some cases the immigration authorities are refusing the application on the ground that the degree is not from a recognised institution. Is there any official list of recognised education institutions/ Universities, which the Canadian Immigration rely on? Where can i get that list? Please share information, if anybody has idea about such a list. Thank you very much
