Is colour xerox mandatory for all the documents to be submitted..?? A friend of mine told me.. is it true..?? Or normal blank n white is sufficient..?

If you are applying from INDIA then Get the B& W copy and get that notarized from the Notary advocate.
It will do

It is not at all mandatory. You can submit B and W. MOst of the people do so.
