Hi guys

I applied to Quebec immigration in 2012 but was unsuccessful and now i want to try my luck again with CIC (IRCC). My issue now is while creating an EE profile i was asked if i have applied to CIC before. What should my answer be considering i have applied to Quebec before. Should i answer yes or no?

Thanks for your response. :)

If you never filed a PR application, TRV application, study permit, or work permit for Canada, then you should answer no.

However i have applied for a Temporary Resident Visa before and that was in 2012 and 2014 respectively. I was granted the visas both times. Although i do not have a UCI number as for the both times i applied manually via paper application and submitted to their office physically.

Please help. What do you think? I have never applied to CIC online.

Pls does TRV (visiting visa) also apply? Pls can anyone assist me with an answer?

Yes, TRV counts. If you still have the UCI numbers associated with those, include them in your application after ITA.

For now, make sure to select yes, as you have clearly applied to CIC before.
