Hi All

Was just going through some of the cases in trackitt and realized that Buffalo is transferring files to other offices(within US)..

Is anyone aware of this phenomenon??Is this done for FSW1 category or other categories?

Hi PMM...Is there a cuf off processing time when they decide to transfer to other centers?
say after 8 months or 12 months if they are swamped with the number of application then they will transfer some of the applications that they cannot handle.
Is there a Operational Bulletin that state on transfer process that you know of?
Thanks

Nope they look at the volumes at each office and their staffing levels and ship a percentage of the applications. If they think there is an interview needed then they ship to the office that is closest to where the person is living in most instances.

ok. Thanks PMM-good info

PMM, I have a question: how do you know how files are transferred from Buffalo? Do you work for them?

Erikvirgo: what makes you think that PMM knows the answer?

This board makes me laugh sometimes...however, it's good when people share their REAL experiences.

Hey Robfis,

PMM is one of the most senior member of the forum and he has been provided guidance to so many folks. What PMM is advising is based on his observation of posts of other people in the forum. If you do not trust advice on this forum, please do not visit it.

Best of luck.

By the way .. do yourself favor and compare the number of your & PMM posts. People like you really upsets me

so it means there is no interview at buffalo office.....filtering the cases on tractitt..i observe that only 6 cases for interview as compared to 76 cases without interview...when files are transferred to local consulates.....even now many files are transferred to other consulates within this month.....nd most of them have received medicals

Dear Sk.Aggarwal,

PMM's answer may be actually incorrect. I had my file transferred to LA recently and there will be NO interview.
NOBODY KNOWS WHY THEY ARE TRANSFERRED, EXCEPT FOR THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE.

I shared my experience in a separate message, and that's it. I shared what I knew and made no assumption that could mislead people.

There is no reason for you to be upset, I just made a comment on the information vehiculated on this board, of which a tremendous amount is coming from so called "seniors", who make up stuff and other naive people believe all that.

Be rational and realize that there is no way that an applicant, even if senior, would know details about how immigration offices work. The most experienced immigration lawyer will not dare to give you that kind of info, because they don't know everything either.

So, I may not have so many postings like a senior...and the reason for that is that I only share my personal experience and what I REALLY KNOW FOR SURE.

People, think twice before believing everything here...
