is Bank statement for 6 months required

Dear all,
I follow London office, and I'm sending the application this week. I would like to know if balance certificate is required or 6 month bank statement. I would like also to know if the police clearance is required with the application or later after processing when they requirew so?

well i dont knw about process norms of London VO...

But i have sent a Balance Certificate only along with my VO in New Delhi, IND and also submitted PCC in origional.

There is no need to send 6 months statements now...but if you have it then its a wise decision to sent those along with Balance Certificate.
