iam just wondering if anyone is receiving any updates or emails from CIC for further processing of PR application since the strike began ??? also any idea when the strike is going to end...

Yes... CIC is charging CC and DD for FSW 2013 applicants and people are receiving PERs. Delays are expected in processing of applications when they reach the concerned visa offices.

So far the end of this strike if not in sight. Lets hope it ends soon.
