Is anyone BOWP holders incorporated your business?

Hi Friends


I am new to this forum and I got a BOWP under CEC program. Now I am looking for some contract jobs and want to be incorporated, But some of my friends telling that its not possible to incorporate if you on BOWP and only can register for Sole Proprietorship.

The problem is there would be some deductions in the pay rate if it is through Sole proprietorship. Can anyone please confirm whether anyone who are in BOWP registered as incorporated?

Hi

You can incorporate the business but someone who are already PR or CITIZEN (can be your friend or relative) has to sign as one of the Director. As per CRA rules 25% of the Director should be resident.
