Is a new medical exam necessary for PR if I have one already from recent work permit?

Hi guys,

My wife recently immigrated to Canada on a dependant work permit. She gave her medical exam in India in May 2019. As per my understanding, will she be required to give another one since the current one is valid for 1 year? I'm will be ready for my PR profile soon.

It is better to do another medical exam since the last medical will be valid until May 2020. If you were to get your AOR by next month, you may or may nor have your application completely processed by April 2020.

No, she is not required to do another medical.

It is better to do another medical exam since the last medical will be valid until May 2020. If you were to get your AOR by next month, you may or may nor have your application completely processed by April 2020.

There is no need to do another medical. The app may be processed before then or the medical may be extended.
