Is a computer diploma worth it?

I'm thinking about studying a 2 year software developer (aka programmer) diploma in Canada for the propose of finding a work a Canada then obtaining a PR status afterwards!! I studied BS Computer Engineer and has 4 years work experience as a software developer in my native country.

I have doubts that it is worth it because:
1) Most companies prefer people with BS Computer Science so I think finding a programming job is slim. Is this true?

2) I only have 4 years work experience (prior to studying) so companies may not value my experience that much. Is this true?

2) I found that study permits can get refused because "you have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your country of residence" like this guys/gals (canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/why-i-got-refusal-t91405.0.html) and (canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/study-permit-refused-t91219.0.html). What does this exactly mean?

Hi,

1. You should think again if it's a post secondary level diploma (2 years). You already have a graduate degree + 4 years of work experience, so why take risk with visa refusal.

try pg diploma or masters as u r already BS and having 4 year experience.
Choosing diploma may result in refusal.
