IRCC have ask for medical assessment (study permit)

It has been now 2 months since I submitted my application for a study permit on ircc along with biometrics. Ircc has now asked me to submit my medical assessment which I did without making any further delay. Does this mean that I will receive a positive response as I have to join my university in mid of September and I am continuously receiving emails from uni to submit a study permit otherwise I have to go for deferral? any ideas or thoughts can be helpful ?

Has your application started eligibility review process? Asking for medicals is just one step in the process.

So you are eligibility review. Processing averages 12 weeks so you should here within the month.

The current processing time is around 12 weeks but it could take less or more. No way of knowing for sure. Just make sure that you know about your education institution's deadlines and rules regarding deferrals and fee payments.

Have you passed the medical yet? If so you still need to get approved. There are no guarantees that You’ll receive a response by September. Have you spoken to your school about options if you don’t receive approval by a certain date?
