IRCC called to say approved sponsorship application

we submitted sponsorship application in nov 2020

I got my aor 15 may 21
Medical June 16
Biometric 28 June
then I hit road block for needed information couldn’t provide them till December 19

today 27 Jan 22 my spouse got a call that we have been approved.

when should I expect the next update

I have not heard of IRCC calling to say a file was approved. If you have online access to your application you can see the status and what's left.
