Iranian in US on H1B should land for PR

Hi,

I have received my COPR and I have to land in Canada in a month. I’m on H1B in US and because of travel ban if I leave the US I might not be able to come back again. Is there anyway to postpone the landing? If I re-apply for Canadian Permanent Residency in a year do I have a chance to get it again?

It can’t be extended. You either have to land by the expiry date or it becomes invalid. You can re-apply and there should be no issue.

But if I don’t land and re-apply is there a risk of not getting it the second time? Because you need to show you have intentions to live in Canada.
