Hi everyone,

I need some informations as soon as possible.

I would like to invite to Canada my brother-in-law from Morrocco for a period of at least 3 months. He is 30 yrs old self-employed. My husband says it would never work because he needs proof that he works aside from a bank statement. I am sure he would go back to Morrocco after his visit.

I know I need a letter signed by a Quebec Notary saying I would like to invite him and all the information.

What does he really need to present at the Canadian embassy.

Thank you for your help everyone

He needs proof he will go back to Morocco. Things like a job - he should a get a letter from his boss stating he has been given a vacation of a certain time and is expected back; money in the bank; property; a family left behind - especially a young child; evidence he is going to school - a receipt for classes that will start after he gets back is the best.
He can try applying - most likely he will be refused, but trying once doesn't hurt.
