How can one invest in property in order to obtain PR?

Thank you! :)
Investing in property in Canada does not give you a path to PR.

So the short answer is that you can't.

Anyone can buy property but it doesn’t give you any advantages to live in Canada or get PR. It is like all the Americans who own cottages/cabins in Canada or Canadian who own property in Florida, they visit up to 6 months and pay property taxes.

Thank you for that!

I know someone who wants to Immigrate - has the money to invest - and would even start their own real estate company in Canada, but i Know it's no longer a simple investment process - they would also need to work for 2 years and it's a whole process -- especially now that the Immigration regulations have changed for the Owner / Operator route...

Any ideas?
