1. If you live in the UK, most likely in London

2. There are 2 reasons for interviews:
a) to address any questions/concerns the visa officer has about the application or
b) for quality assurance purposes - a way for CIC to ensure program integrity

If you can, apply for your GCMS/caips notes - in it you will find out why the VO requested an interview.

I am sure you have read through the Sticky Topic Preparing for an Interview at the top of this forum page. Prepare yourself by reviewing your application carefully. Be certain of all your facts and date sequences. They will tell you if you have to bring anything with you. If you haven't already, ORDER your CAIPS or GCSM notes NOW. Cocknbull has done a thread on ordering them. They can take around 40 days and they will email them to you. These are the facts of the life you have lived. Be confident, know your stuff and relax. It is great that you have the opportunity to discuss your case with the VO. All the best.
