My husband lives in the states but he is mexican so he would need to go back to mexico to get an interview. My question is, do we both have to be together at the interview? Or do we get interviewed separately?
ex: I get interviewed in canada while he is interviewed in mexico

What does the interview request letter say, exactly? If it doesn't say that you must attend, then you don't have to (although, you can accompany your husband to the interview building, if you wish....e.g.: to provide moral support)

I believe under normal circumstances, the sponsor normally never gets interviewed in Canada... :). It's always the sponsored person that gets interviewed, in the visa office processing the application...

Thank you for the response I have not yet applied but I was worried about having to travel since I don't get much time off from work.
